This piece was created to return to the more intimate moments that will hopefully make people reconnect with their own personal journeys. It is a time to look foward rather than backwards and not to cling to the past. 
Mitchell created the Dragonfly wings to be inspired by the nature in her shoots and to be organic, wild, and irregular. This scene is inteded as a metaphor for letting go and embracing a lighter side as well. Her journey is about returning to the surface, rather than away.
